I've had him do both total hip replacements, the right hip on 1/30/2018 and the left on 5/15/2018. Both surgeries were very successful. The best part, no more pain. I am very glad my Rheumatologist referred me to him. Dr.Amundaray is calm, assuring and listens to what you have to say. He has a program explaining what will happen before, during and after the surgery. They line up home care & rehab after surgery. Great doctor, program, staff & hospital.
Recently (1 month ago) had total hip replacement. I am delighted with the out come. Walked without assistance after just one week and I'm ready to go dancing this week.
Blunt to the point of being mean at times, he seemed a bit uninformed in response to some questions. He also mentioned a fear of being sued for malpractice so he refused to answer one of them. He did resolve the issue I came in for but he gave advice that conflicted with what other better-trained specialists had told me in the past. The office staff was slow and were chattering away socializing for ten minutes while I watched them before I was brought back late to my appointment.
This doctor is by far one of the most professional and caring I have encountered during my 60+ years. He had as much time for my questions as I needed and never one time seemed impatient. He even returned to the room after I told his nurse I had forgotten one question. As for the surgery -- absolute success. I did not have any pain whatsoever and I never experienced swelling or bruising at the surgical site. I trust Dr. A 100 %. In fact, I'm on the schedule for my other hip.
My partial-knee surgery by Dr. Amundaray gave me relief from pain, and from needing assistance in many ways. It was an extreme improvement over my prior condition. His diagnosis and attention to my health details were accurate. His techniques and provisions were outstanding. I recommend him to everyone I know who now has a similar need of surgery. I traveled two hours, from Ocala, for my appointments and surgery, and I thank God for His guidance to Dr. Amundaray.
Dr. Amundaray was recommended by a relative who had knee joint replacement surgery by him a few years back he was at that time in clearwater fl. we then located him in celebration fl. It has been 6 weeks since my knee surgery and he did not disappoint I am now walking on my own without the aid of a walker or cane also you can barely see the scar. I highly recommend him he did a great job on my knee
This is my second surgery with Dr Amundaray. Excellent doctor my knee heals promptly. One knee 10 years ago and is doing great, second knee 7 weeks ago and I’m already walking like new. Easy recovery and great doctor, recommended even for older patients.
Dr. Amundaray has helped me to look forward to an active life again. After having two hip replacements I can now enjoy walking every day without pain. Dr Amundaray and his team are caring and very helpful through this whole process. I had total knee replacement six weeks ago , performed by Dr. Amundaray and I am pain free for the first time in years. I am walking with no assistance and driving also. I would highly recommend Dr. Amundary and his staff as well as everyone involved at Florida Hospital, Celebration FL. Treatment from the receptionist to the nurse in the office as well as the whole hospital staff was fit e star. Only sorry I didn't do it sooner. Thanks Dr. A Jim Foley Saint Cloud florida
