Excellent bedside manner. Had a comprehensive plan for my condition. Very thorough. Trustworthy and did not waste my time or money in asking me to follow up. Would highly recommend her.
I found Dr. Slutsky to be an excellent dermatologist and was completely satisfied with all aspects of the care which he provided.
I was pleasantly surprised that my proceedure was was quick and almost painless. I really hate needles and that was the only discomfort I experienced. I was informed of each step before before proceeding and everything was explained in detail. the staff was great and very helpful. I would recommend that if you have to have this proceedure to see Dr. Slutsky.
A long-time professor myself at StonyBrookMedicine, I have known Dr. Slutsky for quite some time, going back to the days when he was my general dermatologist. He is superb physician, very knowledgeable, and excellent micro-surgeon, very caring for his patients. This is the second Mohs procedure that he has performed on me. Excellent surgery, excellent outcome, full removal of the lesion, minimal scaring. I couldn't recommend a physician more highly.
Wonderful bedside manner. Respectful, knowledgeable and explained everything in terms I could understand. Almost no wait to see him and I did not feel rushed when I saw him. He comes highly recommended by my physician friends and my primary care doctor. Wouldn’t trust anyone else! He is thorough and kind. Best dermatologist I’ve ever seen!

On June 13th and mostly due to my ignorance to sun screen, I had my Second MOS surgery in 4 years by Dr. Slutsky and the experience was just as "Excellent" as the first. The doctor presented himself in a cordial, professional and knowledgeable manner and put at ease immediately. If this site allowed, I would give Dr. Slutsky and his staff 20 stars. From the initial consultation, I knew I had found a very special doctor. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and my options; and he patiently and satisfactorily answered all my questions. But it went beyond that.
