A long-time professor myself at StonyBrookMedicine, I have known Dr. Slutsky for quite some time, going back to the days when he was my general dermatologist. He is superb physician, very knowledgeable, and excellent micro-surgeon, very caring for his patients. This is the second Mohs procedure that he has performed on me. Excellent surgery, excellent outcome, full removal of the lesion, minimal scaring. I couldn't recommend a physician more highly.

On June 13th and mostly due to my ignorance to sun screen, I had my Second MOS surgery in 4 years by Dr. Slutsky and the experience was just as "Excellent" as the first. The doctor presented himself in a cordial, professional and knowledgeable manner and put at ease immediately. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and my options; and he patiently and satisfactorily answered all my questions. But it went beyond that. I feel very fortunate that Dr Slutsky performed my MOHS procedure. From the moment I walked into the room for my consultation I knew I was in good hands. Dr Slutsky and Tina explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Slutsky is a wonderful dermatological surgeon. He treated my husband for very challenging situation, with amazing and successful results. My own treatment, not anywhere as serious as my husband's but treated by Dr. Slutsky with the utmost concern and professionalism.
