Everyone has been fantasy
Dr. Slutsky was warm and friendly and it was easy to establish a rapport. He explained the procedure and answered all my questions. He put me at ease. This was my first Mohs procedure and I was initially nervous.
Like most people, I don't like doctors' offices and hospitals. I had a small non-healing wound on my lower leg which was biopsied at the VA, and was found to be Basal cell, so no big worries, but it had to be incised and I was sent to Dr. Slutsky and his team at Stoneybrook dermatology. I came in apprehensive, but from the very first Dr. Slutsky and his team were fantastic, and put my mind to rest. The procedure went smoothly, and all is well.
A few days ago Dr, Slutsky performed a Mohs surgery behind my ear. He and nurse Kayla did a great job and explained everything to me. They were ver professional and explained the results and aftercare procedures. Only over the counter pain killer was required hours after he stitched it up. I would highly recommend him if you require the Mohs surgery
Dr Chikwe and her staff were outstanding. Dr. C was engaging, kind and informative. Couldn't ask for better
The whole office, from receptionists, to the Dr himself were professionals. Dr Slutsky, was very personable. Made the appointment,much easier.

I can not say that it's a pleasant prospect having to go for Mohs surgery. However, I can honestly say that it is always pleasant dealing with Dr. Jordan Slutsky. Not only is he a skilled physician, he is a kind and caring person. I have taken my husband Bill for an unrelated Mohs surgery in the past to Dr. Slutsky. We have complete trust in his expertise. I wrote a very good review last year. What im writing now about is what happened 48 hours later. I told them I was allergic to tropical ointment . They used petroleum jelly. Which I didn't know would give me the same allergic reaction. My head felt like it was on fire. Stitches didn't hold. The incision was opening. Now leaving a bald spot on my scalp.
