I had a recommended nasal surgery by Dr. Weiner. I didn't go to see him for a nasal surgery; I went to him for help with my sleep Apnea. Instead, he suggested before that we get a couple of issues resolved inside my sinus. I was put through a horrible ordeal, with ten times the pain and aggravation he promised. It had no positive results -- in fact, my nasal passages are now (after the surgery) totally blocked. I have also experienced horrible eye issues after the nasal surgery. Dr Weiner was excellent in explaining exactly what was needed to do about my sleep apnea. There was no pressure to decide that minute which gave me time to think about it.
Dr. Weiner diagnosed me with a rare benign tumor called a granular tumor. He was very knowledgeable and able to provide me with all the details and treatment options. I decided to go with his advise and have it removed. I was told that it may impact my speech for some time. The day of the surgery Dr. Winer came into pre op and reassured me that he would make sure he removed only the most minimal amount of my tongue as possible. Dr. Weiner was very reassuring about my follow up visit. I had some concerns after surgery, he reassured everything was healing as is should be, very patient and understanding to the questions I had. Even followed up for a new Sleep Test and Esophagram. Dr Weiner comes highly recommended.
I have seen several doctors at Valley ENT over the years for various issues. Dr. Weiner has treated me over a period of years for cholesteatoma. He and his staff have always given competent, courteous, and timely care. I highly recommend Dr Weiner and Valley ENT in general for any care needing an ENT specialist.
Dr. Weiner is thorough, patient, quite knowledgeable, and communicated well with me. He took his time which makes him run behind schedule, but I got just as much attention from him as those behind whom I waited. Smart, competent, kind doctor. Recommend him highly.
Doctor/nurse never came in to the exam room and left me there for 90mins until I left at 5:15pm. When leaving every one was gone office closes at 4:30pm the front desk had 1 person shuting down the computers. She was startled to see me. I told her I was leaving and she just said OK. I was angry at her lack of concern as to why I was leaving and then told her that tohe Dr Weiner never came in after sitting there for 90 mins. And then she just said OK again without any care. Dr. Weiner is not rushed and spends as much time as necessary. Competent and recommended by my PCP.
