RecommendedAll 3 of my kids have been in Jordan school district. And they have been wonderful. I myself was in Jordan and it has been great. I could not ask for a better district.
I can honestly say I used to recommend this district since I was a child. However since they split, it's like a new and upcoming granite school district. I'm not happy with this district any longer. The way they run everything is just upsetting. And just trying to get ahold of someone is beyond impossible. Parents are ignored. Not okay. I would highly recommend Canyon School District for your children. Wish we could move into that district. I miss those schools in that area.
i moved to west Jordan a few months ago, I called Columbia elementary to enroll one of my kids, and the secretary along with the principal told me they couldn't accept him because he was coming from a private school, so the school wouldn't receive any type of government assistance from him, so I called the district and they told they couldn't do that that have to accept him, unless there was no spots available for him, so I called the school again, and the secretary told me and a very rude way they wouldn't take him, once ag... read more

It's not the district as a whole that I object to. Over the years I have watched them overcome very challenging obstacles and have done amazing things. In the last few weeks, however, the behavior of one of the elected officials of the Board of Education has shocked me. They are awful! If you like overcrowded schools then they are perfect. They have a chance to make some changes and instead of helping overcrowding now, they change nothing 🤷🏼♀️🤦♀️. If you cause disruption you should have done what made sense, what they did makes no sense whatsoever. The way they did the surveys was shady too, you can’t give two options and then send a third weeks later, seems to me like that would skew results.
Continually failing women in the system year after year. I attend Ourirrh Elementary and Joel P Jensen middle school. 8 years of my education were in the Jordan district. Sexual assault is NEVER handled correctly here. This girl deserves some justice, pay up Jordan School District.
