after my hip replacement I am a big fan of Dr Smith who before the surgery patiently explained what to expect and post- surgery was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Two weeks after surgery I was walking a mile without pain Dr Smiths his staff and the personnel at Oro Valley hospital where he operates were also terrific.
I just underwent a 2nd revision of a hip I had replaced in Michigan many years ago. Dr. Smith gave a clear and accurate assessment of the situation, how he would address and correct the hip's multiple dislocations, and what I could expect during and after the surgery. I can’t begin to express all the positives about my experience with Dr. Smith. I had a very severe and painful hip condition that went undiagnosed by a previous doctor. Dr Smith immediately levied a correct diagnosis. I had surgery within 2 weeks of my first visit, an outpatient hip replacement procedure. A smooth and quick recovery and I am now pain free. I could not have had better experience with any other surgeon.
Dr. Smith and his team offer a highly professional, as well as a personal experience. I had hip replacement surgery and 5 days later I was walking unassisted and my stamina continues to improve. The surgery was at the outpatient Oro Valley Surgery Center. The whole team, from the minute I walked in the door to the moment I was guided to my car, was focused on my care. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith to my family and friends.
Almost 9 years have passed since Dr Smith put my left knee back together following a biking accident in Tucson. I could not be more pleased. It is never too late to say thank you.

Excellent - He is such a caring person and a good doctor. I came in the office to have a nuclear stress test and when the receptionist learned that i had my 37 year old Autistic son with me she refused to let us in to have the test. When I went back to my car (fuming) I got a call from the doctor telling me to come back in and ignore that lady at the front desk. He make sure my son and I were comfortable through the whole test.

Dr. Smith and his team are excellent. His level of concern for his patients, along with his extensive experience show in his treatment....he answers all questions head-on, explains everything involved in full detail.
