Have to agree with my wife on this one. I have had a event security business for many years & taking care of the events we had at Memorial Hall, Boomtown Days, 4th of July, etc. But now we have nothing here as far as any entertainment. If you don't go to a bar, restaurant or movie there is nothing to do in this town anymore & know where to do it if someone wanted to present a show

Why would you have the business expo OUT of STATE??!! What reason could I possibly have to take my money to another state for support of a function that is suppose to bring revenue to Joplin? I thought it was about keeping business local. Why is all this money being spent in Oklahoma instead of bringing it to Joplin? I am so disappointed in this. Shame on you JACC!
As a new member to the Joplin Chamber last year, they have not only helped my business, but my professional growth as well. I enjoy each event I attend and love the programs in place such as YPN and Leadership Joplin.
