Everything was wonderful .... until I got home.... When we placed our order ... I asked our Waiter to package up one of the raspberry strudel muffin to take home for my husband ... which he did... When I got home... it was a blueberry muffin. Disappointed .... Just check your take out before you go home.
Our second time here yesterday with my friend who introduced me to this restaurant a week ago. I had the cinnamon roll French toast. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the chicken fried steak the second time and it was awesome, he cleaned the plate. Everyone else in our party have been coming to your restaurant for years and love it. Great breakfast, Cappuccino, deserts pies and cakes and awesome staff.
I recently went to eat breakfast at this location with my disabled best friend and, unfortunately, ordered coffee cake with my meal. I wasn't aware that it was made with a thick, unsweetened raspberry filling. After one bite, I asked the waitress if I could send it back and order something else. The manager then angrily approached me, my piece of coffee cake in hand, and she wanted me to explain, in great detail, as to why I didn't like it. The new decor is stark. The noise level is less than satisfactory. The food is consistently good for the most part. My chicken fried chicken was tasty, mashed potatoes lukewarm, mixed vegetables were abhorable. I didnt know you could do THAT to vegetables. The split pea soup was outstanding, my salad was crisp and tAsty. Service was excellent. .
My friend who is a true "Foodie" wrote the following... A taste of coconut pineapple cake, peach raspberry pie, lemon bars, pumpkin bars and a dozen biscuits i took home today to taste. My friend Lisa D Hecht-Ramos took me here for brunch today and I was in absolute foodie heaven. The biscuit was buttery, light and flavor melts in your mouth.
