Jones Beach State Park is probably the best place to bring your family for a day of fun in the sun. The boardwalk, volleyball courts mini golf, softball fields are fabulous. The restaurant is gone and that is a shame. This place could be even better with the addition of a great restaurants and shopping. Overall it's a great place!
I'm at Jones Beach any time I can any time of year. I grew up here. Just a car ride or 4.5 mile walk! My favorite part is just the proximity to the ocean and how that just soothes the soul...
