Dr Spanyer is awesome! I highly recommend him. He has replaced both of my hips. Both are fantastic works of art! He's a very talented surgeon and he is very friendly. He listens well and shows great empathy towards your situation. He and his super team at St Elizabeth Edgewood get you well informed about your surgery and take great care of you. I love my new hips! Went through OrthoCincy and found the greatest surgeon for my knee replacements. One done in 2021 and other in 2022. Dr Spanyer is the best. Even my therapy people said if the needed knee replacements they would use Dr Spanyer. Have had no problems with my knees at all. I would refer all who needs knee replacements to Dr Spanyer. He is the best

Dr Spanyer is very calm, patient and thorough. I highly recommend him. But the office/policies need work. Months ago I scheduled surgery for 9/1. Their policy states patients cancel 14 days prior or pay a $100 fee. On Monday, 8/28, my surgery was rescheduled due to a conference. I’m angry and disappointed that the same courtesy was not applied to patients. I now have to struggle to find help because my surgery date changed with short notice.
