Dr. Giurintano was called in as a specialist to surgically remove some lymph nodes from my upper neck area. It was a tricky surgery because of locations adjacent to nerves and major arteries. The surgery was very successful and my recovery has been way beyond my expectations. I woke up from the surgery alert and comfortable with little to no pain. Dr. Giurintano has been a pleasure to interact with throughout my care from diagnosis thru recovery. Thank you Dr. G !
The visit was good, but I asked him a follow-up question through the Medstar portal and he hasn't gotten back to me in 5 days. My general physician gets back to me in a day or two. 5/15 Update. No message in the portal in a week. I left a voicemail for Dr. Giurintano's nurse assistant on Wednesday (5/13) with background and a yes/no question. As of today, no response.
