Dr Jonathan is a “straight shooter” Gave me all the facts and percentages of results and he instilled confidence in me that he could and did take care of my surgery in an excellent fashion. He gave me that. “Second Chance” since I’d had multiple small heart attacks and he did 4 bypasses and an extra skilled MAZE procedure so to avoid future Afibs and future surgeries. Soooo thankful.
Great surgeon. Explained everything to me that was about to happen. Very to the point and I like that. This was the most life changing experience I have ever been through. Dr Magruder made it ok. His associates are the best. The staff at Athens Piedmont are angels.
recently, my friend's husband had an open heart surgery. He wasn't the surgeon but he was the one who does rounds for patients after the surgery. Aside from his rude approached to the family and patient. You will feel that he has no compassion to the family who went through this tough times. Very very rude doctor.
Dr Magruder is very professional. He made everything easy for me to make the decision to have it done and I'm keeping my promise to him that I'm not going to ever smoke another cigarette in my life because he went through the trouble to make sure I can have a life thank you very much Dr Magruder
