Updated to comical ! Someone can reply to my review (probably Ai at this point) , but I still haven't gotten a call back from the office. I tried again this morning and pretty much straight to voicemail. I have seen Dr.Ricker a couple of times and he seemed really nice and knowlegable, but over that last few months I have called to try and make an appointment for my initial concern that had gotten worse and only got voice mail. Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at the office. Myself, pharmacy, and insurance company have been trying to get information needed for a pre authorization for over a month. Meanwhile I’m going without medication that I need. I know it’s mostly insurance company fault but the doctor office, especially a GI specialist, should be doing more to make sure someone with my condition has access to the medication that I need.
Do not visit, the absolutely worst practice.
I recently had a consult appointment with Dr. Ricker for an upcoming colonoscopy. He explained what would happen and put me at ease about the upcoming procedure. Both he and the office staff were very personable and professional.
Dr. Ricker was so kind and patient. My wife had an endoscopy procedure scheduled and she took two zips of a protein drink after the cutoff time. Dr. Ricker gave us a choice of rescheduling or waiting four more hours. We waited. He was kind enough to do the procedure at the time and all went well! Thank you Dr. Ricker!
