I have been a tenant with them for coming up on four years. They have been nothing but professional. I had an issue with plumbing that could have been part of my common area and they went above and beyond. Juan has been very accommodating when we had issues with the neighbors security fence. I'm getting ready to renew my lease for three more years. I've rented commercial space in California, New York, Florida and Houston TX in the course of my 30 years of self employment. No other landlord has come close. Five stars

I was a commercial tenant at one of Kagan’s properties for twenty years. He was a tough landlord, but I didn’t have a problem with that, since he was above board about it. My concerns are related to his integrity and willingness to work honestly with a client resulted when I was retiring and had offers to buy my business. I had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to Juan Martinez. I called in reference to a property on 602 W Alabama and was dismissed almost immediately for prejudice reasons. I'm not sure what kind of reputation they are striving for but it was a very unpleasant interaction. I said all this to say I appreciate Juan for making my decision for me because I imagine being a tenant of theirs would be equally as unpleasant. Good luck to anyone that chooses to work with this company in the future but I'm happy it wont be me.
