Very friendly office workers. I would recommend Longview Orthopedics, Dr. Fontenot to anybody I knew. I am very comfortable with Dr. Fontenot, he explains everything so i understand and know what to expect.
Dr. Fontento and his team are a well oiled machine. They take care of you completely. I have had several surgeries by another doctor who messed things up. Dr. Fontento has done 2 surgeries on me now and only good has come of it. I feel so much better. Still have one more surgery and then we will be done. Fontento, is kind, direct, and reliable. He has a no nonsense sense of humor. There are many more great qualities about him but there is not enough room to type them!
I am favorably impressed with Dr Fontenot and his considerable knowledge/experience with my particular spine issues. Before my recent spine fusion as well as the treatment following my surgeries, Dr Fontenot was very reassuring concerning the reasons for this corrective procedure. A year ago I was referred to a Neurosurgeon because my pain management physcian thought I needed another surgery. After a year of constant pain, 5 failed injections, and 3 non-effective nerve meds I was recommended a spinal cord stimulator even though I believe I am a surgery canidate. This was my first encounter with Dr Fontenot as a friend recommended him and I really like him. I saw the PA the first couple of visits & then I was able to meet him & sit & talk with him to discuss surgery. He was very thorough & explained everything he was planning on doing during surgery. After surgery he came by & checked on me everyday in the hospital. I was in the hospital thru the weekend & he came by on Saturday & Sunday to talk with me & released me on Sunday.
