Dr Fong relates at a level that makes it easy to understand your condition and what the best coarse of action is available to you. Never felt rushed and Dr. Fong answered every question we had. The entire procedure went smoothly and the results have been excellent. With a speedy recovery and no regrets.
Emergency Quad Bypass
Great knowledge , explained well so I could understand what was happening, what will happen and what I need to do to heal well.

I'm a physician who needed coronary bypass surgery. Having worked with Dr. Fong prior to my own surgery, I knew that he was dedicated, patient-oriented, with meticulous surgical technique and an extremely low complication rate. I had no misgivings about choosing Dr. Fong. My surgery couldn't have gone better, and I'm happy to give him my unqualified recommendation. In addition, the entire team at SMH, from pre-op admissions to post-op care on the cardiac floor, was outstanding.
Dr Fong performed Cardiac Bypass Surgery on me in September 2024. First of all, his knowledge and technical skills are the Best. He is truly the most professional and supportive doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His explanations, thoroughness and "bedside manner" are outstanding.
