Awful! Stay far away! Extremely unprofessional administration AND doctors who no-show, staff is very rude, all the time. They will let you show up for appointments they know you can’t be seen at, with no explanation or apology, Elvira is a nasty witch who has no business ‘operating’ anything as the all-location scheduler. We had the worst experience at this doctors office, both in Lakewood and Los Alamitos. His receptionist are the worst human beings on this planet. And the doctor barely looks at his patients. He asked a few question and then prescribed drugs that cost ALOT. Then if you call back his office, you wait for hours, only to have the rudest, horrible attendants on the phone, who yell at you and then hang up. They cancel appointments on you if you owe $. The staff are the rudest people on the phone and in person. They sent my 90 year old mom to the wrong office, over 1 hour away. Then they made us sit in a crowded office for 1.5 hours. When they called her up, they informed her she was at the wrong office. The staff on the phone sent her to the wrong office. When we got to the right office, the Dr. only spent 5 minutes with her and prescribed medicines that cost over $500. We called back and they staff is absolutely no help. No complaints about Dr Perley but receptionist has a lot of improving. She gave me an attitude when checking in and in retaliation for that incident delayed us from seeing the doctor for almost 2 hours. Several people who checked in after we did were seeing before us. This is not acceptable and should not have receptionist as vindictive as she was.
Appointment had to be rescheduled by doctor. At my appointment I waited over an hour to be called from the waiting room. Got the blood pressure cuff put on me, assistant promptly walked away to do other tasks, came back 15 minutes later, took the cuff off without taking my blood pressure. It has been 90 minutes since my scheduled appointment, still haven't seen the doctor. Oh and while waiting, a patient came to the front desk, said she's been waiting two hours, and someone from the front desk said that's not my problem!
