After being told my knees were not a candidate for non invasive TKR surgery by another orthopedic clinic, I consulted Dr Greenleaf who had previously done a wonderful job repairing a torn ACL for me many years earlier, and Dr Greenleaf told me I was an excellent candidate and performed separate surgeries on each of my knees with great success. The PA examined my joint but not the condition of concern. After x-rays Dr. Greenleaf said my pain was due arthritis. I pointed out I was there for a functional aspect not pain & asked specific questions. He never examined my joint, instead got out an anatomical model - gave an explanation that did not make sense - gave no remedy for it - reiterated his expensive arthritis remedy and was out the door. It seems he uses a cookie cutter script rather than looking at patient's real concerns.
Dr. Greenleaf performed surgery on my shoulder, rotator cuff and tendon and just recently, a partial knee replacement. Both surgeries were a great success. The best surgeon ever. I have been so blessed to have had such a good surgeon with great follow up
had x-rays of knee in january, P.A. gave me eufflexa shots., one each week for a total of 3. after 2nd shot, told P.A. that my leg was hurting worse than before, still gave me the third shot. Dr. set me up for P.T. Had a horrible reaction to these shots, quit P.T. after 6 visits as the pain was too much. called Dr. office was told by P.A. asst to use cold therapy after a heat treatment. Never heard from them again. No energy, sleeping 12-14 hr a day, couldn't walk w/o cane for over 2 mo.
So far good have surgery in the morning hopefully it heals me
