I went to see Dr Jonathan Droessler after getting a script from my GP for some PT for some upper back and neck pain. I went to PT for 8 weeks with no help. Dr. Jonathan immediately said that we needed to take imaging and told me to switch PT providers as the PT that was subscribed to me was aggravating my issue! He was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. He prescribed pain killers and nerve meds so that I could cope. I would highly recommend him. He tries to help you instead of treating you like another number.
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Droessler. I requested an extension of my medical leave due to severe anxiety, ongoing back pain, and active physical therapy treatments. Despite providing details about my condition, my treatment plan, and the risks of returning to 12-hour shifts too early, my request was denied. I felt that my concerns were not fully considered or taken seriously, especially regarding my physical therapy schedule and the side effects of starting new medication.
