I’ve had what I call tennis elbow for about six months. About 3 months ago, I came in and had a Cortisone shot with Dr. Reid. Great experience and the pain went away. Unfortunately, the pain crept back and I went in to see Dr. Reid again. After having a good discussion and sharing I was also having some neck pain, he suggested x-rays to look at a possible pinched nerve. Dr Reed is amazing. He is informative, caring and I am very confident in my care at Twin Cities Orthopedics.
My problem is the L5 in my lower back Dr Reid after receiving CTscan, the team decided to give me shot in the area by the L5. They decided to be more precise and ordered an MRI test but that was delayed and eventually canceled because I have pacer for heart issues. Then the team decided to do the shot using the CT scan info, only to discover I was on a blood thinner Coumadin which requires a 5 day abstinence from the Coumadin before I can receive the shot.
