It’s been 2 years after my 2 partial knee replacements and I’ve never felt better, no pain , no complications, I’m very grateful for having Jonathan Bar’e as my surgeon.:)
Unfortunately I went through absolute hell with my replacement due to the avenue hospital and looking back Jonathan wasn't as great as expected. As per my review of The Avenue Hospital I was sent home with a bad infection including them changing the dressing in the doorway of the hospital. That was just the start. Five stars are not enough for this outstanding surgeon. Not only are his skills world class, but his bedside manner and sheer understanding and emotional support are incomparable. My hip replacement literally gave me a new lease on life. And it was done with minimum discomfort and pain. In fact within a week of the procedure all pain disappeared, I regained full movement and flexibility and total independence from walking aids or other physical support. Wouldn’t hurt to listen & not make snap judgements. Did not have the full picture, although I’m sure he thought he did, but I was made to feel beaten down and was given suggestions which were completely outside of my wheelhouse. The ego and misogyny in this man is unrivaled.
