I am extremely satisfied with the excellent care received from Dr.Warner for borderline irrepairable full thickness tears to supra and infraspinatus muscles and shredded biceps.MD was excellent;surgery was excellent, staff was always extremely courteous and professional. Doctor answered endless questions and never ever rushed or hurried me. I am returning to full time work tommorow, as a result of Dr. Warner's expert care and surgical expertise! I didn't experience as much delay as others at my appointment. Sadly, that only meant that I got to experience this jerk sooner. I have never met a doctor so condescending and dismissive. I went in with a radiology report showing damage in my shoulder. He told me he didn't see whatever the radiologist saw, and he had no idea where my pain would be coming from. His only suggestion was to continue the PT (that has not helped in 6 months), then come back to see him in 4 weeks. He did his best to make me feel like an idiot for w... read more
it is unbelievable how long he makes you wait...my shoulder clean up helped minimally...my shoulder is shorter across and my clothes fall off...he took too much off...ugh...and we trust these guys with our lives...his staff is very rude...guess it comes from the top...
Somehow this guy has other MDs convinced he knows what he's doing. Waiting time>>> how about nap time! Minimum of 2 hours. After my bankart "repair" I was in as much pain as before the repair. I've since seen some wonderful orthopedists at Children's. (imagine...they have a team of doctors who LISTEN to you!)And, although they tried their best they couldn't avoid my inevitable shoulder replacement (too young). Sent me to BWH. Totally disappointed with this guy. First appointment was canceled but no patients were called so many showed up only to find out he was out. Secretary at check in desk said that they had called patients, however none of us (at least 6 or 7 patients, one who arrived via ambulance from a nursing home) had received a call. Secretary was EXTREMELY RUDE, especially to woman on stretcher who was clearly in pain. Had to wait for hours when arrived for make up appointment. Ask him if you can record the consultation and he will say no because he is concerned about malpractice issues. That alone should tell you all you need to know about this doctor. Recording a session with a doctor creates a 100 true record of what happened. The only doctors who are afraid of the truth are those with something to hide. My impressions (which are subjective and therefore NOT libelous): Very arrogant. Very unwilling to accomodate patienst. No regard for patients needs. unfriendly, treats other professionals as though they are worthless, Quote:"I don't care what they think!", Rude, Imperious, disdainful, contemptuous. All in all fits the stereotypical "I am God" thinking of old fashioned doctors. Refuses to make effort to communicate with patient in a meaningful fashion. Questions about important life affecting questions are literally given one word answers.
