Got a TERRIBLE infection in 3 of my fingers that has spanned about 5 weeks now. Had to go to urgent care twice, on antibiotics 4x/day for 10 days, and they told me if that still wasn't enough, next step was ER for an IV antibiotic. On the last day of my prescription, it started clearing enough to not have to go to ER, thankfully. Still dealing with an unsightly pink/brown wound that is still healing, requires daily attention and care to keep from reinfection, wrapping it up when I go in public, etc. I go to Italy in 2 weeks.... read more
