I’m so thankful to Johnstown Animal Clinic for taking my precious Jezebel in on an emergency basis on a Saturday and helping her. She was so sick with gastroenteritis that I thought that I was going to lose her. But she seems to be much better this morning!!! My tears are drying up.
After calling multiple vets in three different counties, Johnstown Animal clinic was the only place who would accept my puppy as an emergency Saturday afternoon. They were so great with Ara and me as well. She’s doing great, and we’ve found her forever Vet. Thank you again!
Besides caring for our dogs for 10 years, Dr French is a compassionate caregiver. Today I witnessed even greater compassion, as an elderly woman, in distress because she had to leave her dog overnight, being hugged by staff. The same staff leaned to the receptionist, quietly saying "there is no charge for the visit". Nothing more needs to be said.
The staff and Dr. French are to be commended for all they do in the community. I had my 2 rescued kittens initial shots, spay & neuter done here, and compared to previous experience with an Amsterdam vet, this was wonderful.
I absolutely love this place. Dr. French has been nothing but wonderful to all of my animals over the years. I truly feel she's in it for the animals, NOT the money. They are very flexible when it comes to payments and always try to accommodate your needs. My dogs hate the vet, to the point where they need to be muzzled if we go anywhere else, but NOT here. She really does have a way with animals.
