When I decided to rent with this storage facility, it was due to constant rate hikes at my old unit at a competing facility. The owner of Johnston Street Self Storage assured me she wouldn't be raising rates because of the economy. She promptly sold to this new ownership, and it is fallen off a cliff. I'm now paying nearly double what I started with. There is trash everywhere. Doors are smashed. Common areas are allowed to have other peoples' belongings in it. Recently moved from another storage unit to have out items closer to home. The process was fairly simple and I was able to do almost all of the setup and payment online. Unit inside seems secure and the climate control has been working well each time I go. The few issues I had when learning how to access my units was resolved quickly with the help of their remote support. I feel that the value and lower cost is great. Would 100% recommend
