Went in about being awaken by constant migraines. After it was all said and done she scheduled me for something that didn’t effect why I went to her in the first place now I have a $750 bill for nothing thanks Lisa.
Complex and long term conditions discovered and then properly treated by Dr Johnston, after others did not take the time to listen thoroughly or would be dismissive. Amazingly, she took the TIME to gather information, assess, test appropriately. Forever grateful!!
Dr Johnston usually runs a few minutes late. I think it's because she takes as much time with each patient as she deems necessary. If you are looking for a quick in and out diagnosis find someone else. So many drs these days are about numbers. How many patients can they see in a day. Rush em in and gone. She is very thorough and worth the wait. She listens and figures out whats going on. Very personable and highly recommended.
She is one of the most inconsiderate and rude doctors I have ever seen. I scheduled the first appointment after lunch because I needed to get back to work. She was over 45 minutes late arriving in the office. I told her I was busy and needed to get out quickly. Her response was that she was busy too. There were no apologies or explanations by her or her staff. She started talking to me in a very antagonistic manner and I think she wanted me to become combative. I walked out.
I have suffered with Chronic illiness for a number of years. I kept changing Neurologist over a 14 year period until I found Dr. Lisa Johnston. She did not dismiss me ,nor contribute my woes to depression and long work hours. She investigated my problem until she found a definite diagnosis. Because of her my chronic pain and MS Crisis are now being controlled. by the proper therapy for MS.. My quality of life has greatly improved. More power to Female Doctors
I am not sure if it her staff or what, I feel like I'm not important. Her schedule never is open for me.
My visit with her about three years ago went well but she asked a lot of questions that I had already answer on during my testing. Found out later they did not have a file on me. Recently I set another appointment but apparently it is not on the their schedule. Bad Office :(
Dr Johnston is the ONLY doctor I trust completely. She listens. She listens thoroughly and instead of ignoring patients ideas and suggestions because they know their own body, SHE LISTENS AND RESPECTS YOU. SHE IS THE ONLY DR TO EVER LISTEN AND FIGURE OUT THINGS THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DIAGNOSE MY WHOLE LIFE. AND SHE HAS A GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER. YOU FEEL LIKE SHE'S YOUR FRIEND. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DOCTOR I'VE EVER MET. MY FAVORITE DOCTOR EVER ENTIRE LIFE!
