Have been going to Dr. Johnson periodically for over 20 years. He has consistently been a knowledgeable, caring and helpful physician. On the other hand, the staff has consistently been mediocre and have always darkened what could be a perfect experience.
My mother was a patient of Dr. Johnson for over 15 years, as well as my father. My mother recently died. Prior to her passing she was not treated with respect and care by this Dr. and his staff . They are rude, the NP argues with patients and they give patients the wrong paperwork. I don't care how many glowing reviews they have, I would never recommend this doctor. As a matter of fact, I recommend you start looking for another doctor.
Each time I have visited Dr. Johnson. He listen and was very understanding to my needs and concerns. He is very professional and will give you the truth.
My mother passed away recently. But prior to that and after a very long hospitalization, Dr. Johnson's wife and office manager called my mother and essentially told her that she could find another Dr. She was upset because my sister needed to get my very ill mother a pillow for her back. She then proceeded to berate my sister and told her that my mother should be happy to be seeing Dr. Johnson so soon (remember she had an extensive hospital stay) because the wait time is usually months. Dr. Michael K. Johnson is a compassionate and meticulous physician. He has a broad base of knowledge to care for his patients. I've been seeing him for 10 years. I appreciate Dr. Johnson's patience with my many questions. The time I spend in his office is always beneficial.
Dr. Michael K Johnson provided attentive service during my visit. His office is very busy. However, when Dr. Johnson enters the room, he gives his full attention to my concerns. Sometimes, the wait is longer than expected. However, Dr. Johnson's level of expertise exceeds expectations and is well worth the wait.
Dr. Johnson has been my primary physician for almost 10 years. Last weekend I vomited for hours on end. I know I could have went to the emergency room but I prefer Dr. Johnson's expertise so I waited til Monday and they got me in as soon as possible. Have visited Dr. Johnson frequently and always received courteous & professional care. His ability to clearly explain, in Layman's speech, complex medical terms, conditions, and apply effective currative solutions has served me well for many years. Other than an occasional "wait" which, I attribute to his spending more than an average amount of time with his patients, I highly recommed this superb Physician to everyone!
