Office Staff The doctors and nurses are fabulous. I've always felt very pleased by the care my children have received. However the office staff tend to be very rude and hateful both when making appointments and in general dealings. The last appointment I had was for a physical and immunization update for my son to start kindergarten. After having a wonderful visit with the doctor and nurses I was told my copy of the physical and immunization records would be provided upon checkout. PA-C Jaclyn and Dr. Akbar are great...Staff not so much I've heard Dr. Johnson is an amazing dr, but I've yet to see him...I see his PA-C instead. She is very nice though. I've met one nice nurse (only one time unfortunately), the rest of the staff is brisk and sometimes a little rude (to parents, not child). I have my child on a delayed vaccines schedule, and the nurse has given me down the road about it everytime. I haven't had to make a sick appointment yet, so we will see how service goes on that. great doctor Doctor Johnson did my son's circumcision and if I ever have another son he is the only doctor I would trust to do it again. He was very informative and very friendly and he kept us informed before and immediately after the surgery.
Great doc. but horrible staff Dr. Johnson was my first choice for my first son. He was VERY friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. We loved him! The wait was forever because he was always overbooked. One time my son got sick and I tried to get an appointment to see him and the receptionist told me if I thought he was that sick to take him to the hospital!!! Needless to say I switched to Dr. Malonzo right after that.
Wonderful Wonderful Doctor!! I have tried many pediatricians in the area and I have fell in love with Dr Johnson and his staff! They are very nice and I have never had a problem getting into the office. Sometimes there may be a wait but that is because he takes his time with each patient and makes sure that all the questions are answered and that the child is well taken care of. Wounldn't recommend anyone to take their child to his office We chose Dr. Johnson when our son was born cause he was suppose to be an excellent dr. I like Dr. Johnson, but the rest of his staff is terriable and rude. His receptionist is a pain, refuses to get anyone in if they need to, you have to throw a fit to get in and demand to see him. If you need him after hours goodness knows who you will get when you call, I finally had to take my child to the ER cause the on call dr. wounldn't listen to me and kept telling my there... read more
