They take all day on Saturdays!! Make sure you make an appointment. Too many people on the weekend.
Yaking forever to get blood work done
If you have no health insurance and are forced to use a state run facility, I DO NOT recommend you go to this facility if you are having a baby. Go to Fairfax. Stay out of lynchburg completely. My wife had a lot of health problems before we went here, and had all of her records with us. The doctors were not supportive of an elective C-section and assigned us a midwife (Nancy Prothero) who was one of the coldest and negligent people we have ever encountered. Great when you can get in This clinic is difficult to get in without an appointment I was disapointed that my 3 year old could not be seen when having an asthma attack. But during his physical, the doctor took lots of time, was obviously knowledgable, and seemed to really care. The nurses were kind, and put my son at ease. PROS: Will take FAMIS, knowledgable staff CONS: Hard to get in during flu season

Good doctors, but you might have to wait I had a good experience with this clinic. The doctors take a lot of low-income people, so sometimes you have to wait for an appointment. However, the doctor we saw was very good and took his time. He was obviously very knowlegable.
