Dr. Johnson is simply outstanding. My Moh's surgery was complex and she managed it with tremendous expertise. She kept me well informed along the way and was available for questions afterwards. I will certainly seek her out for any future surgeries.
Dr. Johnson performed mohs surgery on the right cheek of my face below my right eye. Several years later is impossible to see where this large section of skin was removed and stitched up.
She may be very knowledgeable. I was in the exam room with an 86 year old person. Dr Johnson was examining his skin. Without a word, she reaches down, grabs a can of nitrogen, & starts spraying his face, temples, & scalp. I mean LITERALLY without one word to either of us. Totally inappropriate. Especially since she has previously done procedures on this gentleman, and has been told (by his daughter) not to do any more without her consent. I appreciate her interest in performing treatments. Dr. Johnson and her staff (i.e., Assistant Anastasia Oldham and "Debbie" at the front desk) were exceptional in making my visit - the removal of cancerous lumps on my face and back - stressless and pain-free. I've seen Dr Johnson twice for MOHS surgery, most recently on Monday for MOHS surgery on a squamous cell cancer on my right cheek. Just like the first time, she got all the cancerous cells in two sessions. The first MOHS surgery was on my lip. She is friendly, professional, and cares about her patients' comfort and welfare. She explained everything and made sure I understood what was going on. I trust her completely.
Dr. Johnson is my go-to for skin checks. She caught an early-stage carcinoma and treated it easily. I am forever grateful for her knowledge and expertise. I would refer Dr. Johnson to any friends and family. You are in excellent care with her.
Dr. Darlene is one of the smartest, most intuitive and caring doctors in any specialty. She is forward-thinking, an expert at surgery and explains difficult medical terms in an understandable manner. Definitely recommend! Referred my parents to her as well and they had an excellent experience as well.
I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for more than a decade. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and has an amazing skill set re: the early detection of the various forms of skin cancers, and the successful treatment of skin cancers! She's a Mohs Surgeon who is caring and compassionate! She also has a good sense of humor, which is much appreciated.
Dr. Johnson took the time to explain all of my options and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend her and her staff to everyone. She is great!
