We went in for smog cert on my sons 35 year old classic car , Got a whole list of things they said the car needed like oil change and anti freeze and horn and marker light not working ( did I ask to write a list of work for them to do/ no) ,I just wanted a smog leave the rest of the car alone ... .I just changed all the fluids and horn works great . Quick service. Knowledgeable staff. Affordable. They got me in and out in one day. I will continue to use this veteran-owned company. And I was just there for another round of repairs that my 21 year-old car needed. These guys are professional, friendly, authentic. I highly recommend them. Update: I had to go in there for something again that was not their fault that seemed to be still giving me problems. They are wonderful at Johnson Auto. They didn’t charge me for this check up. I highly recommend them.
I just moved to Humboldt from eastern Iowa and I needed to get a smog test done so I could register my vehicle at the DMV. I made a mistake with my appointment and went in a day early. They were extremely friendly and got me right in regardless! I’ll definitely be using them for my future automotive needs.
I needed a car part in order to get my vehicle smoked. I was going to another local mechanic who was looking for the needed part. After a month of waiting, I decided to try Johnson Automotive. Johnson Automotive located and ordered the needed part in under an hour. On top of that they charged me $200 less than the other mechanic was going to charge me.
