The Pulled pork hash is the way to go for breakfast or brunch. John's place is a must for me any time I'm in town.
Kid friendly, good food, great service. What more could you ask?
Did you every go to a place with a pub-type menu and have everything taste bland? That's the opposite of John's. A great local place where almost everything I've tried is tasty, from burgers to breakfast burritos. Dare I say it, they've really figured out the ideal hangover recovery menu.
A group of us had the 5 dollar burger and fries special. Very good value for the price. Nice atmosphere.
Great food, great service, great people. John is very attentive and makes sure customers are happy. We come to eat here every time we visit from Portland. A Roscoe Village staple!
