My wife and I wanted to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for the day. when we got to the beach at 10:30 a.m. there were already 3 sets of umbrellas with 2 chairs, set up that were about five feet apart (during pandemic) with no lifeguard in site. i proceeded to move 2 chairs and an umbrella a short distance from the grouping to allow some distancing. My wife and I recently visited North Myrtle Beach and had the opportunity to meet one of your lifeguards, Blaine. Blaine was very helpful, always took time to talk to everyone and was very professional. Blaine made our visit to the beach enjoyable and we appreciate all of his hard work and his positive attitude.
We are so thankful for John’s Beach Service! There’s no way with a toddler to carry chairs & umbrellas then all the other essentials even with a beach wagon. Not to mention our toddler is fair skin and can’t be in the direct sunlight for too long. Using their services helped us to enjoy our days on the beach so much!! Vance & Matt have been so helpful & have everything set up before we hit the beach.
During our stay at Ocean Reef Resort Vance was our lifeguard, he went above and beyond every single day. He was so friendly, alert and on top of his game. Today there was a young boy who started to drown Vance didn’t hesitate and ran right in to save him. It was awesome to see someone care about his job and take pride in what he does!! I would give Vance and John’s Beach Service 10 stars if I could!

The lifeguards here at Myrtle Beach are fantastic. They are very attentive to the swimming conditions and actively patrol the beach. They are friendly and work hard setting up the umbrellas and chairs each day. Cudos to your lifeguards!

On June 22nd, I visited Myrtle Beach as a visitor of the Ocean Enclave hotel. I was having a wonderful time, until met with the rude and disrespectful demeanor of a lifeguard named Ankley. We approached the lifeguard station around noon and asked to purchase chairs and an umberella. He acted as if he didn’t want to be bothered and said to pick 2 chairs that said for rent, and that he would be by to get our money later. WE DID JUST THAT!
