I've tried to call. We are staying at the breakers paradise. The lifeguard on the beach in front of our hotel is NEVER here! He has his on duty flag up and is no where in site...not once has he sat on his stand...his bag is there though. Then he appears for a brief moment to take his flag down so he us off duty at 1:00. I can not believe your service or the city of Myrtle Beach allows a Huge resorts beach to be unattended...Disgraceful!!!! I've stay at the dunes for 8 years now by station 52 and my family never has a problem with the lifeguards specially the one there now he's amazing ! They are always watching, always so friendly and can attend to a jelly fish sting super quick!! Even when other lifeguards go over to the station they never loose an eye on the ocean. One of the best lifeguards I ever had was at station 52.
I have been staying at Dunes Village Resort and it is basically swim in the Ocean at your own risk even though there is a lifeguard on duty. The lifeguards that were on duty the week I was here were too busy walking around dealing with umbrella rentals and when they weren't doing that they were too busy talking to the girls that were near their station. They had their backs to the ocean and their friends were climbing the lifeguard chair. Just an accident waiting to happen. I have never witnessed such incompetent lifeguards.... read more
I'm a little late posting but better late than never.We were at the beach in June and we had Tara as our lifeguard,she was/is amazing!!!She not only did a job that seems quite stressful at times,she did it with a smile on her face at all times.Very polite to all that came in contact with her.She was also very respectful to my son (Collin) and did not think twice in teaching him and letting him hang out and help daily.Thank you Tara and to all of you that do this job daily and thank all of you that took time to interact with ... read more

Thank you to (tara foster, mason jennings, tyler stiffler, jill kent,and evan dickes for encouraging me to be a lifeguard they are always watching us on the beach and keeps everyone safe good lifeguard service=johns beach service and palms lifeguard stand is no longer palms it is called taradice Thank you tara foster you were awesome thank you
Rich and everyone else did a great job with the chairs and trying to keep all the stupid people safe!! I'm sure there were people complaining about not getting in the ocean, but we appreciated how well they kept an eye on everyone.
