Johnny's Catfish and Seafood was founded in 2002 by Johnny McFerren. Years later, the Covington family purchased the restaurant. Even though ownership changed hands, we've continued to create delicious, filling dishes. Our Southern dishes are created using the best ingredients available. We make everything from scratch every day. Our main dining room can seat 150 people. We also have a private area that can seat up to 80 people. I often eat here and I have never encountered a problem with my food. I've always ate in, but today my coworker and I did a call in order. We always get our fish thin and crispy. Today I was so displeased at the quality of the food I called to inform them of this. The response I got from Rory was not pleasing to me as well. I tried explaining to him that it seemed as though we received broken pieces of fish and he stated we asked for thin and crispy and as I stated it wasnt that so you be the judge.
Our office ordered fried turkeys and let me just say how wonderful they were. We always get great food from johnnys catfish. So if you want great fried turkeys call them!!! Also the staff is always great.
We had our parents' 50th anniversary there in the party room. The food was great and the staff was awesome.
The food and service is awesome no matter what time of day you go. We've ate there for years and it's always good.
Food and service was wonderful. Huge portions and loved the sides. We will be back when we visit Shreveport again.
Best catfish around cook to perfection . Lunch special is 8.50 you pick from a variety including fish. Don't forget desert fried chocolate pie comes with special sauce very good. They are open 6 days a week closed sundays to attend church. A locally family owned buisness

Fresh, hot fillets served up with succulent sides in a down-home atmosphere with a smile and attentive service from Jennifer. A must stop when I'm in Shreveport!
