I would not recommend Dr. Swiger at all. He was very arrogant he wasn't listening to me (in his own world) It seemed like he just wanted me to shut up. I asked for a mammogram because I'm on hormone cream and he said I didn't need it (I'm 37 years old) (the hormone cream cautions that it could cause breast cancer) He also told me I was (NOT) going through perimenopause but after he examined me he gave me a prescription for estrogen (hormone) cream. It was a wast of time and money going to him.

Dr. Swiger is nothing short of AMAZING. Although I was only with him for a short amount of time, he made me feel so comfortable in his care. My very first visit with him was unlike any with my previous OB (out of state). Dr. Swiger was very attentive and always listening. Great bedside manner, funny, and knowledgeable in his work. Very respectful of my birthing plan and always answered all of my questions. His nurses and staff were also great. I would recommend Dr. Swiger with no hesitation!!
Dr. Swiger is excellent at what he does! He is quick, to the point, has great bed side manner and an awesome personality. I have recommended him to plenty of people. And all of my family goes to him. My only complaint is that I can't go to him for everything medical, because I definitely would. I absolutely trust him with any choices he makes regarding my health and well being.
The office is great -- The waiting time is very short. He is great and gets in to see you very quickly. He takes his time with you, answers every question, and listens to any concerns. He makes the icky part of the visits quick and comfortable, and will always see you when you need to be seen. I couldn't have chosen a better doctor to guide me through my pregnancy and deliver my baby. If I ever have another, I will definitely make sure I can see him again.
He delivered my first two children, and I loved him! He was honest and thorough. I am now pregnant again, but I moved to Texas, so I can't have him for this pregnancy. I wish I could drive back to Louisiana just for him to deliver my third.
He is fantastic. Always available via MyOschner to answer question and concerns via email. Delivered my first baby and will be delivering the second!
Dr. Swiger just brightens the room when he enters. He personalizes the experience and provides complete care. He ensures he reviews everything thoroughly and timely. I could not imagine having another gyn.
