Dr. Swiger was my Doctor for 8 years, but after this recent experience of lack of care and negligence, I would not recommend. His nurse made the situation worse because of her lack of Communication. Because of their inconsistency, back to back surgery cancellations and lack of follow up, I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured and had to go to the ER and have emergency surgery by a better doctor. Dr. Swiger is a wonderful doctor he has delivered 2 of my babies. He listens to your concerns about any issues you may have & gives you the best care possible.
Worst pregnancy, worst Dr. a different dr delivered us because it was an emergency and he still didn’t want that dr to take the baby, in a medical emergency. DOES.NOT.LISTEN.TO.PAITENTS.
Dr. Swiger has been my gyn/ob since I moved to Louisiana in 2016. And I must say he is the absolute best at what he does. I had a loss in 2017 at 38 weeks and i'm currently 32 weeks with another baby. He is extremely thorough, will always asks at every visit if I have any questions that I need answered, has monitored this pregnancy extremely closely and that gives me a sense of relief knowing my OB cares. I would definitely recommend him to anyone because he is great at what he does
No wait time in either waiting room prior to visit nor after in room.
I highly recommend Dr. Johnny Swiger to anyone. An excellent Dr. He was kind, thorough, and answered all my questions. Very informative. I give him a 5 star rating.

Was recommended by a friend to use Dr. Swiger. Was not interested in my birth plan at all. I felt rushed and all my questions I felt seemed to be a bother to him.
