We've been going to Johnny's for their special Thanksgiving dinner for several years. This year, a couple of problems marred an otherwise perfect meal. A few years ago, Johnny's either didn't have or ran out of cranberry sauce very early during the Thanksgiving meal. I thought they had learned their lesson...they didn't. Thursday's "Steak! Steak! Steak!" lunch is one of the best deals in town - $11 for steak plus garlic mashed potatoes or fries. It may take a little longer but that is because it is worth it!

Have enjoyed This restaurant for a number of years, any special days were at Johnny's. The service is excellent, and the meal was good, a little expensive but good. Until a week ago, I, my wife and a friend that I had bragged about this restaurant ordered the usual Best cut of prime rib and got the worst prime rib we have ever tried to eat. Dining alone. The bartenders, Mark and Nick, treated me right and you can't beat Iowa steak. Lots of John Deere business dinners.
