I come all the way from Chicago once a year for The Travers weekend and to hang with my boys from Albany ... the real reason I come out ain't the horses... it is the extraordinary food and great time Johnny puts together for our group. Spectacular!!
Never disappointed.. the food the drinks the atmosphere all authentic and nostalgic for me. Makes me feel like I'm right back at home at Grandma Basile"s table...
I came here for my birthday and I couldn't have been happier that I did. From the drinks (I had sangria) to the food (get the calamari and the eggplant rolatini!!), to the service. Everything was incredible. I'm excited to go back! Thank you for making my birthday great.
Johnny's was a fun place to be. It was very busy but the hostess found us a table very quickly. The food was very good and served quickly. Our waiter was a nice guy. My only complaint: the portions were huge and I couldn't finish!

I have been to Johnnys several times - always great food and service. Last night out celebrating birthdays I ordered steak med-well but came back bloody red. Our server didn't check on our table to see how the meat was cooked so I had to flag him down. He returned it to the kitchen and they brought me another but by this time everyone already finished their meals. This time my steak was cooked perfectly. I asked to speak to a manager. THE best food I have eaten in a long time! Service was excellent as well.
Best Italian place in the area. Can't go wrong. Food is the best and you get to take some home. Family business with all the right moves. Have to try it and you won't be disappointed
Best stop in town. Keep up the great job. Not only is the food amazing but it's affordable. All I can say is Italian nachos!!!
