The mellow music draws me to this nostalgic place. Just plain fun, I like the sense of a more innocent time in our country.
A neon-lit trip back to the Eisenhower era comes with burgers, shakes and fries. – In Short Vintage Coca-Cola ads and posters of Life magazine covers succinctly summon up the 1950s, as do this diner's mini-jukeboxes, red vinyl counter stools and sock-hopping staff. Besides fast food staples like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, tuna melts and onion rings, options like the Streamliner (a grilled veggie patty) acknowledge more modern dietary concerns. Avoid on principle – After finding an industrial staple in my hamburger, and the crappy treatment I got after complaining to corporate, I will never set foot in Johnny Rockets again. As a way to make up for it, they sent me a $5 certificate, which didn't even pay for the burger. Best 50s themed restaurant – This is a fun restaurant to take your family because it brings back memories from yesteryear, but is also a great environment. The dancing waiters and swing music puts everyone in a good mood and they even make homemade vanilla coke. The grilled cheese with a cup of clam chowder is my usual, but burgers and onion rings are also worth ordering.
you can find better we went there once- first and last. didn't like it. the service? well, not the best .-I refrain to say it was the worst from everything I saw up to date, but on the other hand I can't think at anyplace with a worst service (at least not in United States) The place is dirty, smelly, and the portions too small for the price asked. Not the best food either. Don't waste your money and time (did I say that you wait about half hour to get a hamburger and french fries?)
