I love this place and the family that owns it! The meat was always fresh, and the prices were good. I also liked the personal service, they did a good job of remembering regular customers. I don't live in Quad Cities anymore, but if I did, I would still be a customer.
they have good prices and all kind of meats, staffs are friendly, highly recommend.
Went to Johnnie's Meat Market for the 1st time. Chris was amazing assisting me every step of the way. I asked if the had 2" thick bone-in ribeye and he he went back and cut one right then. I asked about brisket and Chris had one that was 11.67 lbs and I was looking for around 8 lbs. Chris went back and made one cut and it came out to 8.02 lbs, just amazing! I also tried beef sticks, summer sausage, baby back ribs, breakfast sausage, Loaded Brats, Atomic brats and crab salad. Definitely worth a trip!
Love this shop! Went in for ground elk. They recommended the Elvis brats! As an Elvis fan, I had to try! Grilled them and instead of toppings used marshmallow fluff and regular hot dog buns. With a side of BBQ chips. So freaking good!!!! Highly recommended and will go back for all my unique and regular meat needs!
Been going here since I was a child and now I have grandchildren. Been a loyal customer. Until yesterday when I was sold moldy Swiss cheese. Was going to take it back but so grossed out I can't shop here anymore. Gave 2 stars because they're meat has been good. But now have to find somewhere else to get our meat and cold cuts. It's a shame. How could they not see they were slicing through mold on Swiss cheese? It was loaded with it.
