I thought Dr. Young had a wonderful bedside manner and he talked in a very calming voice. I was in very great pain with my right knee and leg pain. He was sent X-rays from my PCP which showed bone on bone in my knee. He ordered an MRI and after it was read, he just said it showed bad arthritis. He only said I don’t want to do a total knee. He gave me a cortisone shot and placed me on Mecloxicam and I left. The pain continued. I made another appointment and had to see his fellow or PT. I found Dr Young when last dr wouldn’t help. I really needed someone to listen to me, take action. He did and I’m grateful. His entire staff are exceptionally friendly. Never send message via patient portal it goes unread until you call because you don’t hear from them. Left messages don’t get returned sometimes. I had surgery early this year. I am 1 month from a year post-op from a labral repair. Dr. Young saw me the day after I dislocated my shoulder for the 3rd time and scheduled my surgery 1-2 weeks after that visit. Some of the delay was for me to plan/prepare. His office was going to try to get me in that Friday for surgery! Dr. Young doesn't have the greatest bedside manner, but it isn't bad either. Dr. Young is very professional and caring doctor. The surgery that he has preformed on me was flawless with a short and complete recovery.
Dr Young and his staff are the best! Our first visit was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the surgery that we needed to know! Dr. Young is an amazing Dr that I have been seeing since 1996 & now my family uses him. He is very friendly & he explains everything where you can understand & answers your questions. He treats you as a person not just another patient. If there is any way to avoid surgery he will go that route 1st & if all else fails he will talk with you about it. It has been nearly 3 years since my TKR. HE WOULD NOT LISTEN TO ME. NO BETTER THAN I WAS 3 MONTHS AFTER SURGERY.
Dr. Young is the best & I highly recommend him & his wonderful staff. I have used him since 1996 & niw my whole family uses him too. We won't use anyone else but him!!!! You won't find a better or nicer Dr he treats you as a person not as a symptom & is not cut happy unless absolutely necessary!!!! We consider him a friend & you should too.
Great staff, they are very understanding, help get you set up as soon as possible for appointments. Dr. Young is great is terms of listening and helping the patient to understand what is going on and what the next steps for treatment will be.
