For many years, I suffered from severe trigeminal neuralgia encompassing my entire cheek area to above my eyebrow. I was finally directed to Dr. Lee by a neurologist at Penn Medicine. A head MRI revealed that my cerebral artery was contacting the trigeminal nerve. Dr. Lee recommended microvascular decompression to correct the condition. I had the surgery in January of 2026, and since that time, I have been totally pain-free. The only way to really put it is that Dr. Lee gave me my life back.
Horrible, discouraging appointment in 2016 that made me lose faith in our healthcare system. I have been in pain for 10 years and no one can figure out what I have. I came to Dr. Lee to see if he had any ideas. I typed up a three page summary of everything I have already tried, and also brought in ALL of my medical records. Had a cancerous brain lesion recently removed at Penn. Dr. Lee is a remarkable surgeon and the operation was a complete success. Highly recommended!
Dr. Lee took care of my husband's acoustic neuroma which was pushing into his brain. My husband had his surgery on Wednesday and came home on Friday. Dr. Lee is confident, kind and caring. He's an excellent surgeon .
