Words cannot express enough how absolutely glad I am that I met Dr. Lee and chose him to do my MVD procedure for right-sided trigeminal neuralgia. My TN came upon me suddenly in May 2024 and after several weeks of mis-diagnoses and the pulling of one perfectly good molar by local doctors in Delaware, I was finally properly diagnosed and placed on a low dose of Carbamazepine. The low dose seemed to work for about a year when the pain came back and quickly escalated, resulting in increasing my medication to the maximum 1200mg ... read more

From my 1st visit with Dr Lee in mid-March’25, Dr Lee -and his staff-provided me with the information&education I needed to feel confident about my planned surgery. My daughter was my strong advocate throughout, with her 15 month old in tow. We appreciated Dr Lee and staff listening to our concerns and giving us the guidance we needed. Every step of the process was thoughtfully managed. My surgery was done April 1- within 3 weeks -at Pennsylvania Hospital. The care there was stellar too. I recovered well. Now at 3 months out... read more

After almost 4 years of debilating pain with Trigeminal Neuralgia, we connected with Dr. Lee and he performed MVD surgery on my 81 year old father in June 2025. I am happy to say that my dad is now completely pain free and after the surgery, he had ZERO side affects of any kind...No pain from the surgery, no headache during recovery, and no more Trigeminal Neuraglia! It has completely changed his life! And at 3 weeks post-op you could not even notice the surgical scar. From the first meeting through the follow up appointment... read more

I was diagnosed with a large acoustic neuroma brain tumor in December 2024 and had translab acoustic neuroma resection surgery with Dr. Lee and Dr. Bigelow in March 2025 with a great outcome. I could not recommend Dr. Lee enough to anyone with a similar issue. He is attentive, kind, and an extremely talented surgeon. His expertise and surgical skill when it comes to skull based surgery are second to none, and I have him to thank that I can live my life normally.

After 15 years of treating my trigeminal neuralgia with medication, it worsened and medication was no longer a solution. Surgery was the only option left. I recently underwent micro vascular decompression surgery at Penn performed by Dr Lee. He and his team were outstanding. The surgery was a success and the incredible pain I experienced for as long as I can remember is gone. I cannot thank him and his team enough. During my recovery his team was always available to me to guide me when I had questions or problems. I highly r... read more
