I've seen Dr. Wright for almost 2 years, and I can't say enough good things about him! Dr. Wright finally diagnosed me with Narcolepsy type 1 after 3 other sleep specialists missed it. He's warm, friendly, and encouraging, but he also kept my expectations realistic. He told me that I wouldn't feel 100% normal again, but treatment would still change my life. I had both done yesterday and it was a horrific experience. Painful in the extreme and I thought I was going to choke to death. I urge anyone reading this to please find another gastroenterologist. I am suffering from ptsd as it was the worst medical experience I have ever endured!! Inhumane and completely unacceptable. I will be taking this further. I do not want anyone else to suffer and have a total panic attack like I did yesterday.
Horrible! Do not waste your time with this Doctor! He didn’t introduce himself, proceeded to check my body with a safety pin he got out of his dirty doctor bag, which I don’t know if it was even sanitary! Didn’t look at all at my information on GDD -gadolinium deposition disease that has been proven by Dr. Richard Semelka 2021 to help me get the gadolinium that was injected into each hip in Dec of 2016 by Mercy Hospital. It took them over 6 months to work with my insurance and get my sleep study done. I am constantly having to call them to refill my meds, as they ignore my pharmacy's requests. Trying to get hold of anyone for any reason (including meds changes) is nearly impossible, the front desk doesn't answer the phone, and the nurse doesn't return calls. I saw Dr. Wright for insomnia and also related to him my concern about my diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment. I took a cancelled appt. that was on a Monday morning at 9:00 AM. After a mini physical where he hardly touched my chest to hear my heart and a discussion of my insomnia, he made the following comment to me. '' LIVE WITH IT'', end of appt.! I still can't believe he dismissed my appt. this way. What a waste of my time and money. I got nothing from this appt.
The man didn't introduce himself, immediately left to get is cell phone in case he got an important call, asked me NO questions before or during the EMG and the entire time was sneezing, clearing his throat and wiping his nose with his bare hands.
