Non-existent service – I've walked into the signature shop in West Hollywood twice, and received not even an acknowledgement from the sales staff. I refuse to spend money in a place where the SALESpeople think themselves above the customer. Clothes are nice, but that's it - Banana Republic look and quality
Perfection – I love John Varvatos - love, love, love him. He is a genius. His clothes are so beautiful designed and the choice of earthtone colours -- simply the best. His shoes are not only comfortable, they are very well-made. The staffs are simply the nicest and most wonderful people there. They are fun and extremely honest -- try to find that at Bergdorf Goodman. Simply the best!
Almost Perfect – You'd think that a store with great interior design (SoHo loft chic), great clothing by a great designer, and great selection would have better service. But there's a degree of snobbery with the sales staff, particularly amongst the male sales staff. Which is the only disappointment with this store. The interior provides great light to see all of the clothes. The clothes themselves are always meticulously cut and made of the best materials possible.
Wonderful – I usually can't justify spending $200+ on a dress shirt but these are more than worth it. The entire collection is crafted from the finest materials and cut beautifully - something as simple as a white cotton shirt is incredibly soft and fits perfectly. The collection works for virtually any professional. Nothing here is over the top or difficult to put with what's already in your closet. In addition, the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous and make shopping for these amazing clothes a dream.
