Hello... I am William and I had his father J S Gaul back in 1981. I had a car wreck and crushed my left arm and hand too. Had 8 operations by Dr. Gaul. The last visit to his office he put out his hand to shake my hand. He told me... Son’ For this to happen to you and for you to come back from this so fast and so strong. Have seen many doctors in my 71 years existence and he is BY FAR the most compassionate and caring doctor I have known. His skills as a surgeon are excellent and I have been more than impressed by him and his team.
He is great. Very approachable, listens to your concern, gental when needing to examine your injured extremities. Dr. Gaul is not quick to want to cut on you when possible surgery may be knocking at your door, he discusses alternatives/other options before any surgery. Your mind is at ease upon leaving his office and staff. Thank you Ortho Carolina for having Dr. Gaul on your list of physicians for my Hand Specialist.
