Dr. Munson and his staff are very welcoming, accommodating, and always available to answer and questions. He operated on my partner for Stage 4 colon and was completely professional! We would recommend him in the future
Dr John Monson operated for the excision of a precancerous lesion when he was at the University of Rochester. He perforated my rectum which resulted in a two week stay in the ICU. He then discharged me with perintonitis. I had two go back to the hospital for two more weeks for a course of kidney destroying antibiotics He visited 3 times over the month. He is not a good doctor.
Dr. Monson is an excellent surgeon. He put me at ease immediately and provided excellent care along with his team. He took the time to answer all of my questions with explanations that I could understand. I would highly recommend him and his entire medical group.
Dr Monson did a great job. Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. And prepared me for my surgery. He came by every day while I was in the hospital and listened to me and truely cared about how I was.
Dr. Monson brought to the U.S. from Ireland and UK 20+ years of expertise in endoscopic colorectal surgery. He has trained numerous surgeons and written peer-reviewed articles on minimally-invasive procedures. For me, this meant that instead of major surgery with possibly major unpleasant recovery and side effects, I had an ambulatory procedure and was able to leave the hospital the same day. He also made sure that I wouldn't miss a planned trip to Ireland! I'd trust him with my life.
Dr John monson is a lifesaver to me. Had the dr when he was a dr in Rochester I almost died the good dr. Took care of me with surgeries he performed. Dr. Monson was welled versed in his field. I highly recommend him if ever I had to have that type of care again I would fly to Orlando Florida from Binghamton New York so he could take care of me again excellent Doctor

Dr.Monson is my super hero. I had been sick for so long and seen so many different doctors. I kept getting sicker. Eventually I found a new GI Dr. whom sent me to Dr. Monson. He performed surgery which was very challenging because of my condition.I am still on my road to recovery. Every day is getting better. My family and friends are also very thankful. The past couple of years has also had an affect on them. In closing I thank Dr. Monson. I highly recommend him.Best wishes on future endeavors
