First of all, Dr. Monson accepted my elderly mother as a patient, right away, even though she had previously undergone a colorectal procedure by another doctor. Secondly, he treated her with dignity and respect, as well as, a sense of humor. The colorectal resection surgery procedure was a complete success- with no colostomy bag. Had surgery in feb. Since surgery they say it’s not their issues and they send me to multiple drs and pass me around collecting the money! Could not get my fmla paper work for work until June 30. Totally unacceptable. Cost me my job and I still am unable to function properly. Staff does not call you back, will not send the proper paperwork needed, will not help. Been in major pain since day 1 of the surgery and they wouldn’t help at all with pain. I’d say I’m at 30% of what I was prior to this operation. Cannot even get anyt... read more

Dr Mondin took a big risk operating on me 11 years ago.. I had multiple surgeries with the Doc..!He was always available for complications which there were many. Dr Monson gave back some day f life .. Very Talented surgeon.. Unfortunately he left ROC l.. Florida Gained a excellent surgeon.

Dr Monson treated my elderly mother’s colon cancer. He was so kind and patient with her. He spoke directly to her, not to me like so many doctors do, as if she were deaf or uninportant. She can be a bit of a complainer, but he always got her laughing. Such a rock star of a surgeon with the least “diva” attitude. We can’t thank him enough.

My gratitude for the treatment received from Dr. Monson and staff. The very thought of cancer surgery, and hospitalization was very scary, so I asked God to guide me to a doctor that was a good listener, caring, and had lots of patience. I felt comfortable with him the first time I met him. After many months of testings, one of the toughest times of my life, God used his hands to perform the surgery. His staff is exceptional and his professionalism speaks for it.
