I was sent to this dr by the hospital, i can honestly say i am very distraught over the care i received or shall i say non care. I sat in his office from 1:30- 4 pm saw him a whole five minutes if that for him to say because of him knowing my previous doctor who no longer takes my insurance he was not able to help and was out of his expertise!! well excuse you me hence the word orthopedic!! then hands me a piece of paper with the diagnosis of cancer, nice way to find out im sick... Heartless!!
He replaced both hips 2 years ago haven't had any problems. He is honest and straight forward his office staff was great to work with.
Dr Schwappach was outstanding and professional!
He was rude, condescending. Every thing I asked about was met with a snotty comment. He actually told me I AM THE SURGEON. At end of appointment when I expressed frustration as to how long it was taking for Doctors to decide what I needed done he said I have patients that have lost limbs, you aren't so you need to get over it Totally disregarding how I felt.
Very poor experience. Long waits, incomplete exam. Provided with Patient Information and Patient Instructions that were not only erroneous but fabricated as well. Follow-up visit was worthless. Worst MD experience in quite some time, possibly ever!
